Mrs. Sunny Chang has been teaching in the AUHSD for 20+ years.
She graduated from UCLA in 1999. Then worked in the private sector for a few years before transitioning to the teaching profession.
Mrs. Chang worked with the computers since the 80’s. Her first computer was the IBM. It came with only a keyboard, floppy drives, and two games.
Mrs. Chang took multiple classes in Robotics, Publication Design, Electronics, and other technology classes offered in school. Then in college, the Internet was born and hence web design became available. The Hampster Dance was the most viral website of the days and inspired many future web designers, including Mrs. Chang.
Fast forward to 2024, she has been teaching students how to navigate the Internet, design graphics, and create their own websites for 20+ years. She’s used apps such as Notepad, Frontpage, Dreamweaver, WordPress, Paint Shop Pro. Photoshop, and many others to create her websites. The web has come a long way since Geocities and Tripod.
Mrs. Chang also has two kids, a 9th grader and a 5th grader. Along with 2 bunnies, 2 bettas, and an Instagram puppy named Mochi. In her free time, she enjoys listening to Apple music, follow NWJNS, watch Netflix and Crunchyroll.
