My Accomplishments in Applied Tech

Applied Tech is one class that I am really glad I took. I learned how to Photoshop a picture of myself from a boring green screen to being outside the white house. Not only does this class offer many programs but we also take field trips that you will read along my webpage.

I also have learned to type from forty six words to typing at my fastest speed of eighty three words from taking a test on typing web and micro type to typing for fun on nitro type. At first I did not like typing because it hurt my fingers but I soon realized that I was smashing the keys and that made them hurt. Now I enjoy typing and I type faster by not smashing the keys but just gently pushing down.

One of my most favorite achievements was that I learned how to code the web site that you are reading right now with notepad. We used different ways to make different websites such as Html, Javascript, Azure, Weeby and app.css all were different from the settings to the companies who created them, but it may seem hard to code a website and you may give up half way but it is really simple if you listen.

My second favorite achievement was I learned how to video edit using Camtasia Studio 8 and made an amazing video and got a good score over all in the script and video with group effort. Our group may have struggled on how to edit the video with me as the editor but we each had our jobs.

We also got to take a field trip to Microsoft Technology Center where we learned about Windows 10 which by now is very popular. We also got to take a hour of code on Microsoft's laptops. Last but definitely not least is that in Mrs. Chang's classroom was that I learned how to run a virtual food truck business and earned 1700 dollars in the whole process and learned how to target potential customers in my own food service. I have learned a lot in this class and I am happy that I signed up for Applied Tech if you are reading this be happy if you made it in.
